The picture at the left shows the cab of the "A" Car with "C" car on the right. The entire forward area of the the car's frame was replaced with new steel. New stainless skirts, faring, pilot skins and drip cap were fabricated from stainless steel. The original cowl, cheek and sail panels were repaired and refitted to the restored car structure. The restored siren, number boards, classification and headlight assemblies have been installed and wired. New FRA glazing will be installed in new stainless window frames.
